Dahua – NVR5208 8-Channel NVR (4 TB)

Dahua’s new NVR5000 series network video recorder delivers excellent performance and high recording quality that is ideally suitable for IP video surveillance applications. This professional NVR adopts powerful processing, providing the capability of 4K resolution  for applications where image details are highly required. Additionally, the NVR can be served as edge storage, central storage or backup storage with an intuitive shortcut operation menu for remote management and control.

The 5208 supports upto 2 hard drives and upto 8 cameras via Poe. A maximum HDD size of 12 Tb is available for a total of 24Tb maximum storage capacity. It also supports PoE and ePoE allowing installation on existing coax infrastructure with DAH-LR1002 and compatible camera. Dahua allow up to 800m cable runs on either cat5 and above as well as on coax. For ePoE to function the NVR, the cameras, and the coax adaptors must support ePoE.

Due to its easy to install design, the 5000 series is ideal for in home security, but also has a wide range of other applications such as public safety, water conservancy, transportation, town & city centres, education and financial institutions.

The NVR is compatible with numerous third party devices, which make it the perfect solution for surveillance that works independently of video management systems (VMS). It features an open architecture that supports for multi user access and is compatible with ONVIF 2.4 protocol, enabling interoperability with 4K cameras. All PoE Ports Support 800m ePoE and EoC
