With this connection and the addition of a Sonos wireless subwoofer and surround speakers your Arc can form part of a Sonos 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound system or even a Dolby Atmos surround system if your sources, such as Sky Q Silver boxes or Apple TV, support Dolby Atmos surround sound and your TV supports eARC on its HDMI inputs.

Control is easy with the Sonos app and Apple AirPlay 2. Expand your sound system any time by adding Sonos speakers around your home. Everything works together over WiFi or a hardwired network.
