To create custom cinema rooms with luxurious fabric walls SMS highly recommend the Ultimate Track system. This simple, easy to work with track can be used to create 100’s of different fabric wall and ceiling designs as seen in the case study projects images on both the SMS website and our sister company Finite Solutions.

Using a fabric wall finish to our cinema or media room not only looks fantastic but also allows your to hide all speakers and cabling in the room and to install acoustic treatments  behind the fabric which will vastly improve the surround sound performance in your room so you can enjoy the full potential of your equipment.

Unlike many of the imported systems that are based on imperial sizing’s the installer can use standard MDF or Plywood 18mm materials to create support structures for sockets, speakers or lights behind the stretched fabric.

Should you wish to add the CAT-S range of acoustic treatments behind your fabric we recommend adding a support frame of 2x layers of 18mm ply beneath the fabric track to create a 54mm void space which will accommodate all the CAT-s acoustic treatments

The 18mm leg height of this track also means we have one of the largest fabric insertion channels available, this makes it really easy to tuck in excess fabric and multiple fabrics into the channel, which speeds up installation.

The thicker extrusion profile allows the track to be screwed to the wall without the need for pre drilling.
