This smart home lighting system is the initial element of a larger future smart home system. The clients used the S.M.S. configurator to prewire for smart home entertainment systems such as TV, music and cinema systems, as well as services like gate entry and CCTV, so they could add these functions to their home later as budget allowed.

Control4 smart lighting is provided in the main reception rooms, the garden, hallways and master suite as well as WiFi throughout the whole house.

All lighting installation and on-site wiring in of the pre built Control4 lighting control boards was by the client’s main contractor to the designs provided by S.M.S.

The S.M.S. commissioning team arrived on-site after all systems were installed and spent an afternoon adjusting lighting scenes and functions around the house to suit the clients preferences. During the commissioning visit S.M.S. also integrated the clients Amazon Alexa’s so they could control the lighting with their voice too.
